plus one me ("we") helps people find someone to go with to events and activities, through our website and our WhatsApp account. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. The service is run by MUBARAZA LLC, a Florida limited liability company, 4283 Express Lane, Suite 6603 311, Sarasota, FL 34249.
What we collect
- Waitlist: your first name, WhatsApp number, city and the activities you pick.
- Your profile: first name, city, photo (if you send one), interests, your three "vibe" answers and an optional one-line bio.
- Plans and matches: plans you post (what, where, when, ticket type), requests you send or receive, and the meeting details and seat information you add.
- Messages: messages you send to our WhatsApp account, including messages we pass between you and your match.
- Payments: whether you paid a match fee and how much. Card details are handled by Stripe; we never see or store your card number.
- Safety: reports you send and reports about you, and your "would +1 again" ratings.
How we use it
- To run the service: create your profile, show your plans to people in your city, connect you with your match and send you your plan and +1 pass.
- To message you on WhatsApp about your requests, matches and, if you joined the waitlist, the day your city opens.
- To keep people safe: review reports, remove people who break our rules, and prevent fraud.
- To improve the service, using counts and trends rather than reading individual chats.
We don't sell your data and we don't show ads.
Who can see what
- Other users see your first name, photo, city, interests, vibe, bio and your "would +1 again" score. They see plans you post, and your request message if you ask to join theirs.
- Your phone number stays private. Matched people chat through us. Your number is only shared if you both choose to share it.
- Service providers that run parts of the service for us: Meta (WhatsApp messaging), Supabase (database and photo storage), Render (our servers), Stripe (payments), Resend (email alerts to our team about new signups). They process data only to provide their service to us.
- Authorities, only when the law requires it or to protect someone's safety.
How long we keep it
We keep your profile while your account is active. Type delete my account in our WhatsApp chat (or email us) and we remove your profile, photo and plans within 30 days. We may keep payment records as long as tax law requires, and safety reports for up to 12 months.
Your choices and rights
- See or change your profile anytime: type profile in the WhatsApp chat.
- Ask for a copy of your data, a correction or deletion: email hello@plusoneme.net.
- Stop messages: block our WhatsApp account, or email us.
Age
plus one me is for people 18 and older.
Where data is stored
Our database is hosted in Ireland (EU). Our providers may process data in other countries, with the safeguards the law requires.
